  • Cursillo

Cursillo is a movement within the Catholic Church. The purpose of the movement is the Christian leavening of environments achieved through natural leaders, preferably in groups. This is done by providing them with the means to live and share what is fundamental to being a Christian, so that, through the impact of their personality, they may inject the spirit and sense of Gospel into those factors that actively shape environments.

  • Maria Immaculata Mission Circle #138

Maria Immaculata Mission Circle #138 began at St. Hedwig Church in 1972.  It is one of the oldest and continuous mission groups in our Orange Diocese.  Since its beginning, approximately $100,000 has been sent to the Columban Sisters Missions in Peru, Philippines, and Haiti.

Members pray the rosary together on the 2nd Monday of the month from Sept. to May at 1pm in the church prayer room.  We also discuss current events and all the activities at St Hedwig.

The main part of our meeting is planning our Annual Luncheon, which is our fundraiser for the missions. This year our luncheon is on May 12, 2022 at 11:30am in Quinn Hall.

    We would love new members.
